The piercing process is fairly straight-forward, though every piercer has their own technique.
I always say any piercing can take up to a year to heal, sometimes more and sometimes less.
Because the cartilage on the anti-helix is tougher, it takes more force to pierce itmeaning more pain.

Rinse your piercing twice daily, followed by whatever cleaning product your piercer tells you to use.

One symptom that should draw your attention is cartilage bumps.
Your snug piercing will heal best when you leave it alone for as long as possible.
Do not sleep on the ear with the piercing or tug at it so as not to irritate it.
Also, be sure not to rotate or touch the jewelry during cleaning so you don’t agitate it.
