Im not a nail tech, but this is what works for me.
A strengthening base coat is a surefire way to get stronger nails, and yes, they do work.
I was skeptical, too, until my nails were hard as hell.

Thats just what works for me.
Again, Im not a nail techIm just gay.
I know it may seem simple, but it took me years to figure this out.
Theyre stupid cheap and theyre the secret to a clean-looking manicure.
Theyre the easiest way to clean up the nail if polish wells up onto your cuticle.
Just run it around the nail to pick up excess polish andboom a salon-level manicure from home.
Its a strengthening base coat and Ive been using it for years.

Well, let me rephrase.
Ive seen better results, like, freakishly stronger nails, from other base coats.
Floss Gloss is just my favorite.
The brand is amazing, the colors are really unique, the formula is great.
This is not a claimthis just my opinion, but this is also my article.
Floss Gloss is all I wear, and have worn for years.

Heres where you gotta start listening.
Ive tried all of the gel-like top coats for traditional nail polish and none of them work.
You cant really expect them to wear like gel when theyre…not gel.
That said, it’s still a big claim to make for a top coat.This one actually works.
The Deborah Lippman one is pretty good, too, I used that for a long time.
But this took its place.
No, it is not gel but it is the next best thing.
Its pretty thick, so dont apply a heavy layer or else, again, it will never dry.
Just slick a normal layer over your nail and youll be good to go.
This does take longer to dry than your normal polish or top coat, but its worth the wait.
I usually give it six minutes.

Seche Vite Top Coat
Yes, I am telling you to use two top coats.
Do you want your nails to last or not?
Nail polish enthusiasts either love or hate Seche Vite, and thats how you know its good.
Even used on its own, its far better than almost any other top coat on the market.
Its also affordable, and (recently?)
available in some drugstores.
It is really, really worth picking up.
Anyway, thats it.
