And while I’m excited for the music, I’m mostly looking forward to the fashion.
The wilder, the betterwhere else can you get away with wearing head-to-toe rhinestones?
Ahead, read on for Byrdie’s comprehensive guide to dressing for festival season.

Coachella

When I think of Coachella, I think of 2013 Coachella.
Flower crowns, fringe, and boho chic ensembles were practically synonymous with the California festival.
This time around, boho chic is back, with more refined textures and elevated details.
Think suede boots, lacemaxi skirts, and ruffles of all sorts.
The cherry on top?
Either way, you’ll need a studded belt to top it all off.
Electric Daisy Carnival
EDC is like Disneyland for ravers.
It’s a neon wonderland of electric dance music and outrageously vibrant outfits.
Bonnaroo
I like to think of Bonnaroo as the laid back, Kombucha-obsessed sister of Coachella.
Set on a 700-acre farm, the vibes are easy, breezy, and a little bit crunchy.
Rolling Loud
At this hip-hop festival, streetwear reigns.
There’s no better place to bring out that hand-me-down sports jersey that’s been collecting dust.
