We turned to hair experts for their advice on the best way to air-dry your hair.

This ensures a shortened air-drying time,” explains O’Connor.

Additionally, you will cause frizz with any movement you make while sleeping.

This causes it to swell and can cause the hair to look drier,” says Rivera.

Yes, it is always good to give your hair a break from any kind of heat.

“When air drying the hair, always use a wide tooth comb while it’s wet.

A brush will disrupt the cuticle too much and cause the hair to look frizzy as it dries.”

Rivera recommends air drying your hair first thing in the morning.
