The canary-yellow sofas in her suite at the Chateau Marmont look like something out of the 1940s.
The Polaroid camera we brought to shoot her is a vintage one from the ’80s.
But Hari herselfher brain, that isis like something from the future.
Only now do I feel like I understand what she meant.
Hari and I are the same age, but shes lived thrice as many lives.

Thats just the thing, though: Hari wasnt always blonde.Shes an Ashkenazi Jew from Boston.
But metamorphosis is the models specialty.

It was always models when I was in high school.
But now Im 25, and Im blonde, and Ive filled out a little bit.

So Ive always looked to beauty icons to affirm whatever Im working with at the moment.
Thats how I choose my queens.
But feeling good about how I look every day is justits hard.
Everybody feels like theyre going to be found out.
Nobody is paying attention to your body as much as youre paying attention to your body.
Most people just get a general idea.

I think fundamentally if you approach people with positivity, they approach you with positivity.
So when I feel a sense of negativity, I just attempt to push things in another direction.
I fake it, and then I forget that Im faking it, and it becomes real.
As for how I keep myself in that positive place?
Eight hours of sleep.
Well, six to eight hours, six the bare minimum.
Drinking a lot of water.
Making sure that your mental health is just as well taken care of as your physical health.
Im a big advocate of therapy.
I eat aplant-based dietthats something that works for me.
But with wellness, the definition has to change for every individual person.Theres no recipe for wellness.
Truthfully, I feel like Gucci Bloom has been the biggest affirmation of my modeling career.
It almost feels like the climax of it.
But more recently Im focused on acting.
Ive shot two films this year and Im shooting a television show currently.
In the meantime, I feel so happy to represent Gucci and particularly Gucci Bloom.
I feel like I have my friends in fashion, and I know who they are.
And Im really happy to count Gucci as my best one.
I think people are truly taking a closer look at what have long-been the ideals.
Theyre looking them in the eye and realizing that theyre no longer relevant and no longer useful for today.
When people bring these huge diverse casts through like a cattle call, it doesnt feel specific.
It feels like diversity is the vision.
And diversity isnt the vision.
Its not a worthwhile vision.
That is so 90s.
It won’t be everybody.
As for my beauty favorites of the moment: Gucci Bloom, of course.Coconut oil lip balm.
And Kat Burki has this enzyme toner thats made out of fruits and vegetables.
Its something that you put on to prep the pH balance of your skin before either moisturizer or oil.
Thats actually the last beauty question I googleddirections for how to use it.
So Im really into that right now.
There are so many beauty trends I like.
Androgynous fragrances: When I wear them, it feels sort of like how I have been dressing.
Both now as a blonde and also in this crude political climate, Ive been wearing darker colors.
Id like to see a blurring of those lines.
Im also tired of Instagram makeup.
Its not really something that Ive ever done.
There are those two blur tools, you know.
Theres the double drop and the single drop.
I feel like you have to stick with the single drop, if you know what I mean.
Id like to see us move from a double-drop nation to a single-drop nation.
That is my intention.
