So, how does she manage it all?
“Self-care is mental health, and you have to prioritize it,” she explains.
“Because if you look good, you’re going to feel good.

It’s just as important as getting a workout in.”
It’s no surprise, then, that Johnson would partner withInvisalignher ethos extends to her smile, too.
As any dentist would explain, my teeth shifted.

That’s why this partnership is such a perfect fit for me.
My smile has always been one of my greatest assets, and it illuminates my confidence every day."
Her First Beauty Memory
“Okay, a little secret about me.
Well, not really a secret, but I was a tomboy when I was growing up.
So, I was outside with the guys.
But there was this lady who called herself a dollNicki Minaj.
And [amongst her fans] she had light-skinned dolls, dark-skinned dolls, girls of every complexion.
And that was the first time I’d seen that in the rap world.
It was highlighting the beauty of all women.
That was probably my first beauty memory.”
Her Game Day vs Performance Glam
“It’s totally different.
On game day, I’m probably just going to wearconcealer.
I might do a littlemascara.
For a performance, I do a full face.
When I’m on the basketball court, I love how my skin looks when I sweat.
It’s a natural glow.
When I’m on the stage, I’m more dolled up.”
It’s something I really love."
On Her Skincare Routine
“I’m getting more into skincare, using differentcleansersandtoners.
I also useBlack Girl Sunscreen.
For my body care, I loveDr.
Bronner’s Peppermint Soap.
I just figured out you had to dilute it.
Sometimes, I exfoliate, and I love usingbody scrubs.
Her Definition of Beauty
“Beauty, to me, means confidence.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholderthere’s no one standard.
It’s just who you are, and you create your own definition.
There’s beauty in everything, in everybody.
It just depends on how you look at it.”
Everything is a part of self-care, and it gives me a little pep.
I also have self-care days, one day out of the week.
I get my nails done, my lashes done, everything.
The small things make such a big impact.
Just taking care of yourself gives you confidence.
I feel like everybody needs those days, especially women.”
