“My passion for motorsport came from watching F1 during the weekends with my dad.

As a kid, I absorbed a lot of the sounds and visuals from the living room.

It got me very interested in racing.

By the age of four or five, I was just begging to give it a go.

Fast forward to today, Chong has become one to watch on the track.

This year, at age 17, she is ready to continue to break barriers behind the wheel.

“I’m still a bit in shock.

Before [my partnership with] Charlotte Tilbury, I probably wasnt the person to ask for beauty advice.

But all of my friends are into it, so I absorb off of them.

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream

I did learn a little bit after [spending the day on set].

Ive seen what makeup can do and the magic of confidence personified.

Now I want to learn more.

I think its become sort of an obsession [laughs].

At this stage, we should be able to have access to all people in any sport.

That’s what Makeup Your Destiny means to me, both on the track and off the track.

Her Recent Beauty Discovery

[Learning] askincare routinewas just mind-blowing to me.

Going through puberty and my teenage years in racing [I faced many skin issues].

Not many people know this, but the contact of the helmet against your skin makes you break out.

I would get back from a cart race weekend and be likewhy is this happening?

But now I have the proper knowledge of skincare and use it in my daily routine.

It feels effortless in some ways.

Those two just seem to work in a pair.

Before every race day or testing session, it’s just a simple [routine] that I do.

I have been experimenting with skincare and seeing what works and what doesnt.

I feel like a kid at a candy shop.

Her Pre-Race Routine

My pre-race routine changed a lot this year.

I’m quite a simple person and don’t believe in ritualsI just go with the flow.

But one thing that makes a difference is a good warmup and an energization zone.

[One thing that helps me feel energized is] listening to a lot of pump-up music and skipping.

I have a pre-raceplayliston Spotify of hard rock music.

I love a bit of ACDC or Eric Clapton.

I wont talk to anyone before getting into the car.

Ill just walk around and normally pace a bit.

Its not nervous pacing, its just because I have a lot of built-up energy in my system.

Once I get into the car, everything quiets down and Im in my happy place.

When I was younger I experimented with ahigh ponytailwhich did not work [with my helmet].

Ive also tried doing one single braid, but again that wasnt my thing.

Her Must-Have Products

Skincare has always been a must this year.

I’ve been wearing theCharlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer.

It adapts to your skin tone and blends right in.

I’ve also been using theMagic Hydrator Mist.

It feels amazing in hot weather and gives your face a nice refresh.

I also love theAirbrush Flawless Setting Sprayon and off the racetrack.

It locks everything in place, and you don’t have to worry about [products moving].

You check back in and your makeup looks exactly the same.

So that would probably be my number one product from Charlotte.
