And that’s how my relationship with Garnier started.
I wouldn’t talk about a brand I didn’t use myself.
I always use a shampoo and conditioner from the brand and the SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water at night.

I also use the Whole Blends Honey Treasures Hair Honey Repairing Serum and the Nutrisse Ultra Color Nourishing Creme.
I also love how intentional they are about being eco-conscious.
Garnier’s “One Green Step” program encourages people to make small changes to help the environment.
It’s a much more livable ethos than completely overhauling your life."
Youve experimented with color over the years.
Can you talk about your relationship with hair coloring?
“I’m someone who likes to study the color wheel to understand why and howhair dyeworks.
I’ve always loved changing my look, and now I’m so settled.
I have no interest in hair drama anymore, but I used to thrive on it.”

Do you have a favorite hair color you’ve worn?
“I lovered hair.I like a nice orange-red on top of high-lit, low-lit hair.
Are there any tips that have helped you keep your hair healthy while dyeing it?
“Don’t bleach it.
Sometimes, when you’re younger, you don’t care because you know it’ll grow back.
But now, I understand there areways to remove colorand keep your hair healthy.
Having patience is so important.
You don’t need to completely flip your look overnightwhich I have done.
I went from having long reddish brown hair to a blunt platinum bob overnight.”
You’re also a beauty brand founder, launching Flower Beauty in 2013.
What is one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned in the beauty business?
One minute, it’s all about heavy makeup andcontouring, and the next, everything is minimal.
[Beauty] is an ever-changing thing.”
What are some of your winter must-haves from Flower Beauty?
“Every day, I’m wearing the Dream Warrior Volumizing Mascara.
No other mascara helps me achieve thickness while separating my lashes.

“I often don’t take any of my advice and burn the candle at both ends.
What’s one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned in the last year?
What are you looking forward to?
“I learned a lot about navigating social media and the digital world last year.
There were a lot of tough lessons, but they were really helpful for me to move forward.
You have to learn what works for you in terms of output and intake.
This year, I want to take more trips with my girlfriends.
I’m already trying to plan three before April.”
