If anything seems unusual, reach out to your piercer or medical professional.
Scarring:All body piercings leave a permanent mark, whether you keep it in or remove it.
However, after about eight weeks, its actually recommended that you replace the jewelry with something thinner.
Any resistance or pain during a jewelry change should prompt a visit to your piercer.
